The World's His Stage
"Children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you will shine like stars in the sky, holding fast to the word of life."
Philippians 2:15b - 16a
About Us
Our founder, Elana LaGrone, has always had a love for theatrical and performing arts. After being home-educated, she realized there was a need for consistent performing arts opportunities in that community. She started out with not much more than a desire and a dream to fill that need.
In 2021, she recruited a dedicated and hardworking team of people who also shared a love of music and acting. We produced our first show, Back To Broadway, a musical showcase featuring various Broadway and showtune songs. It was a tremendous success! In the summer of 2022, WHS put on our first full length musical, Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, with every show having an overflowing audience. In June 2023, we presented our first play, Alice in Wonderland.
With many new faces and continued support, we knew it was time to be established as a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization. We officially organized and established our organization in November of 2023.
We have been producing one show each year and begin our rehearsal process in January with performances in the Spring. We hope to eventually expand to offer theatre classes, camps, and other performance opportunities.
The World’s His Stage believes in whole family involvement: Onstage, Backstage, and Offstage. We focus on education in performance techniques, technical aspects, set and costume design, and eventually, theater history. We believe encouragement is the best way to learn and we strive to provide a comfortable, encouraging and safe environment where our participants can thrive and use their God-given talents.
Family members of all ages are encouraged to participate in the cast, crew and other volunteer positions.
